About Dana Green PR
Dana Green is a veteran communications executive in the entertainment industry. Known for her strategic vision and passion for storytelling, she currently works as a consultant for creators and showrunners whose projects include series for Disney, PBS, YouTube Originals and Netflix, among others. In addition to her work in entertainment, Green also oversees communications and talent outreach for several Los Angeles-based youth-focused non-profit organizations.
Green most recently served as Vice President, Communications, Disney Channels, where she led publicity and media relations for Disney’s animated television series across Disney+, Disney Channel and Disney Junior, and oversaw studio publicity and communications for Disney Television Animation. Green and
her team were responsible for launching
global hit series including Phineas and Ferb, DuckTales, Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts, Doc McStuffins, Elena of Avalor
and Sofia the First, among many others.
Prior to joining Disney in 2006, she founded Dana Green PR and consulted for clients in entertainment, fashion, beauty, health and non-profit. Earlier in her career, she served as a publicist for Paramount Television, Sandra Bullock’s Fortis Films, and Wolf Kasteler Public Relations.
In addition to her PR work, Green recently served as a Board Member for South Central Los Angeles-based youth organization, A Place Called Home (APCH), which she has been involved with for more than 20 years and continues to support. Green is also the founder/creator of APCH’s The Cinderella & Prince Charming Project, a program that provides formalwear for youth in need throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
